Scott-Pien Picard, born in Sept-Îles, is an Innu songwriter from the Uashat Mak Maliotenam community. He writes in Innu, his native language. This artist took up music at the age of six and began performing a few shows in his community. Inspired by the group Maten and Kashtin when he was young, it was then that his passion for music began. He participated in the TV show Le Rythme 3 in Montreal in 2015, directed by songwriter Samian. He took part in the Nikamun Mamuitun (unifying songs) event, bringing Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people together in Petite Vallée in 2017.
