For Lise, the important part of creating art is to stay true to her ideas. She likes to begin every project by choosing the colors first as they become the foundation for her piece. Her paintings are done with acrylic paint, and in the past 2 years has begun working with epoxy. She learned to create art by observing other artists, and, although it was not easy, she felt compelled to continue creating because of the beauty therein. Putting materials together to create art brings her joy and she hopes to share that with the world.
Biography
Born and raised in Hearst, Lise Beauvais is a passionate artist who has always loved creating with a variety of materials. She learned how to make art by way of YouTube videos. Seeing other artists at work has been her inspiration to create. Although, the materials have cost her a lot, she knew in her heart she had to continue creating. Her wish is that the viewers enjoy the art as much as she enjoyed making the art pieces.
