Biography
Originally from Mattice, Manon is an artist, hairdresser-barber, entrepreneur, mother, wife, sister and proud woman, passionate about creativity in all its forms. Her preferred medium is oil painting, a universe where she can explore texture, depth and emotion through each of her works. Her style is eclectic and constantly evolving, as she enjoys experimenting with different techniques and artistic approaches in order to push the boundaries of her creativity. Whether in the visual arts, hairdressing or any other medium, she always seeks to merge precision, expression and originality to create unique experiences.
Biography
Francine D'Aigle, Manon's older sister, is a native of Mattice and has lived in Hearst since 1996. She has been working as a secretary in the school environment for five years, after having worked as director of the Hearst Public Library for 23 years. She's the kind of person who likes to try everything at least once. She has always had an artistic side, and when she was young, she often won awards and competitions with her talents. She started painting about eight years ago as a form of well-being and relaxation, and since then, painting has been a part of her life. She soon realized she didn’t have the patience for oil painting, but she continued to work with acrylics and watercolors.

Manon Daigle-Guilbault
Manon Daigle-Guilbault likes simplicity. What inspires her are the colours, sounds, scents, noises and interactions of everyday life, as well as all those little things that are often taken for granted. Experiences and “joie de vivre” nourish her inspiration. Painting allows her to explore her feelings of admiration, absorption, appreciation, and reflection in an intimate and personal way. Her paintings become a space of freedom, a suspended moment that belongs entirely to her.
Francine D'Aigle
Francine’s inspiration for painting is like the seasons: it comes and goes. She can go several months without her touching a brush, and then, suddenly, she creates many works in a short time. The goal of her art is to create works that she finds attractive and that fit into modern and popular trends. She exhibited for the first time about seven years ago with Raymonde Lozier, and then again last March as part of the exhibition entitled “Au sein de la société".
